Disposable 9 inch Transfer Pipettes are a single-piece molded pipette with the final inch being a pinch-bulb for moving small volumes of media. No preset measured volumes like a fixed pipettor has, but convenient for getting slide samples ready. Another popular use is cutting the bulb off and pushing the remaining tube onto a luer-slip syringe for drawing up semen collections from tubes or collection cones (the pipette diameter fits well on standard luer-slip syringes without the need of any adapters).
